Fort Worth family of man killed in Hawai'i skydiving accident: 'His smile and love for life was contagious'

FORT WORTH, Texas — A skydiving accident in Hawai'i Friday killed 11 people, one of whom was a 29-year-old Yukon, Okla. native who had family in Fort Worth.

Members of the family spoke to WFAA Sunday night.

"Casey was one of a kind who lived life to the fullest," his family said in a statement. "He was a free spirited lover of life and people. He was a friend to all he met. His smile and love for life was contagious. Our family will not be the same without our sweet Casey."

"We do appreciate the respectful sharing of his loving spirit and passion for life. We feel immeasurably grateful for all of the kind words and generosity of so many. We are praying for all the friends, family and those on the ground at the time if the crash. This has affected so many and our hearts are heavy."

A GoFundMe page has been set up for Williamson's funeral expenses.
