CORSICANA -- Police have arrested a man in connection with an aggravated assault of a Wal-Mart greeter.

The complainant said a man approached the greeter at the store located at 3801 W. Hwy. 31 and began stabbing him with an unknown object.

The suspect then ran eastbound from the store towards West Park Row. Schools and businesses in the area were notified of the threat.

Multiple Corsicana Police Department units and Navarro County SO units responded to the area and were able to find him about a half a mile from the store.

The weapon used during the attack hasn't been determined at this time.

The victim was transported to Navarro Regional Hospital. He is in good condition and expected to be released soon.
