IRVING, Texas — Two Irving motorcycle officers are recovering from minor injuries after being involved in a crash Monday morning.
For most of the day, officers initially investigated the crash as a hit-and-run crash and were looking for a vehicle that may have fled the scene after two motorcycle officers collided on the northbound lanes of State Highway 161, just before 11 a.m.
What led up to the collision is unclear, but police said they are not looking for anybody that they consider a suspect. They would like to interview anyone who may have witnessed the crash, according to a tweet posted by Irving PD.
The police officers have been released from the hospital.
