SAGINAW, Texas -- A 17-year-old was arrested Thursday after police say he shot three people at a skate park in Saginaw.
Amari Joseph is charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, police said.
Just before 7 p.m., police officers were called to the 600 block of Stafford Station, off Blue Mound Road just east of I-35, for reports of gunshots being fired.
Three people had been shot -- two in their 20s and a 14-year-old. All of the victims were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police believe a verbal disagreement began between Joseph and the victims before shots rang out. Witnesses described the suspect and his female companion to police, who tracked them down and brought them in for questioning.
The female was released and won't face charges.
During a search of Joseph's home, police found the firearm used in the shootings.
His bond has been set at $15,000 for each charge.
