Police are trying to identify a man who sexually assaulted a woman after breaking into her south Fort Worth apartment early Monday, then forced her to withdraw money from an ATM machine before dropping him off.
The incident occurred at an apartment complex near Hulen Bend Boulevard. Police were alerted by a third party shortly after 4 a.m., who told dispatchers that her daughter’s 19-year-old friend had been sexually assaulted by a man who broke into her apartment.
Daniel Segura, a Fort Worth police spokesman, said the unknown man entered the apartment through an unlocked door. He then sexually assaulted and stole items from the apartment before forcing the woman to drive to an ATM and withdraw money, Segura said.
The man then had the woman drop him off at a shopping center parking lot, the call details stated.
