DALLAS -- An arrest has been made in the murder of a man in West Dallas.

Kedarien Bennett, 25, was arrested by the U.S. Marshal's FAST Team and Southwest patrol officers.

Police say Bennett got into a verbal argument with Mark Warner, 54, at about 9 p.m. Wednesday in a neighborhood in West Dallas, near Trinity Groves. Bennett pulled out a gun during the argument and shot Warner several times. He was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital where he died.

A witness was also shot, and was treated for a wound to his leg. He positively identified the suspect as Bennett, would had fled the scene.

He was arrested the next day and booked into jail on a $500,000 bond.
