MINNEAPOLIS -- Minneapolis police say six people have been wounded in two separate shootings in downtown Minneapolis early Monday morning.

Police say two people were injured in the first shooting about 1 a.m. in the area of 4th Street between Hennepin Avenue and Nicollet. The second shooting happened about 15 minutes later, also downtown. Police say four people were injured and all were found at the scene.

Police say all of the victims were men. All six were transported to Hennepin County Medical Center. One is listed in stable condition and the other five suffered what police describe as non life-threatening injuries.

One witness told KARE 11, "It wasn't just a 'pop-pop.' This was like a whole clip."

Police say the two shootings are still under investigation, and it isn't clear whether they are related.
