23 arrested in North Texas prostitution sting, police say

The Dallas Police Department's Special Investigation Division ran an operation targeting online sex trafficking in the city of Dallas and Collin County.

DALLAS — Twenty-three people have been arrested in relation to an online sex trafficking scheme, Dallas police told WFAA on Thursday. 

The Dallas Police Department (DPD) said its Special Investigation Division ran an operation targeting online sex trafficking in the city of Dallas and Collin County. The operation led to the arrest of these 23 individuals for Solicitation of Prostitution:

  • Christian Garcia, 52
  • Calvin Middlebrooks 28
  • Omar Kashu, 27
  • Dinh Pham, 44
  • Tuan Nguyen, 50
  • Jeffrey Clifton, 47
  • Samuel Torrez, 60
  • Lavinski Jones, 56
  • John Ebeniro, 41
  • Tyler Ramirez,  30
  • Benjamin Crane, 48
  • Joshua Music, 47
  • Celso Gutierrez, 45
  • Antonio Roa, 58
  • Dibyendu Mukherjee, 59
  • Ram Yarlagadda, 46
  • Michael Hale, 49
  • Jubin John, 37
  • Robert Fort, 52
  • Rehan Sherali, 29

Dallas police said it also seized three firearms and more than $6,000 in cash. The Solicitation of Prostitution charge is a State Jail Felony, police said.
