More than 20 years on the police force, countless raids and innumerable hours of training. But still nothing can prepare you for the moment your life nearly ends. It's been more than two years since Lieutenant Carlton Marshall of the Dallas Police Department was shot in the neck. Doctors saved his life at the scene but it's what happened, in the months that followed, that's so amazing. Rebecca Lopez reports.
