Lancaster police have made an arrest in connection with the shooting of 14-year-old Nicholas Barnes.
Cyntraze Jermond Wright, 17, was arrested and has confessed to the shooting, police said.
Wright has been charged with murder and taken to Tri-City jail.
If found guilty, he could face a prison sentence of up to 99 years but must spend at least 5 years in jail.
As Barnes and other teenagers were leaving a birthday party at a girl's home in Lancaster just after 11 p.m.on Saturday, a suspect sprayed bullets into the crowd, killing Nicholes and injuring another unidentified teen.
