Drives need to watch out for a major traffic alert this weekend.

Crews will shut down U.S. Highway 75 on the Richardson-Plano border early Saturday at 3 a.m. Roads won't reopen it until Monday at 5 a.m.

According to the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA), it's from Renner Road to 15th Street to allow for demolition of the Plano Parkway bridge.

The westbound President George Bush Turnpike to northbound U.S. 75 direct-connector ramp is closed.
• The southbound U.S. 75 to east- and westbound PGBT direct-connector ramps are closed.
• The eastbound PGBT to northbound U.S. 75 direct-connector ramp is closed.

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will also have other closures in the same area at the same time.

If you have plans in the area, make sure to plan for detours.
